When a dermatologist once shrugged and told me that (pretty much) everything you do in the shower goes down the drain, I became a minimalist too lol.
I know! I have 3 body washes with active ingredients, plus an exfoliating shave gel, in my shower and I just look at them and think...you don't work, do you?
